Tino was born in Las Palmas, Canary Island, Spain. After graduating with a degree in Administration management, he decided to pursue his real passion, Performing Arts, at the  age of 21 he received a Scholarship to study in London, where he graduated with a bachelor in Performing Arts at Urdang City ,University of London.

His career started off on London West End stages as a performer with a long Theatre  career with productions like; Miss Saigon, West Side Story, Fame the musical , Oh! What a night, Hey Mr. Producer, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Celebration, Chicago, Tonight is the Night.. and many others.

His creativity shaped with every experience that he had, with every professional that he worked with.  Inspired and influenced from the very best in the London theatre scene.  Originality and uniqueness  was his motto to become a Choreographer and director.

In 2003 He received an invitation to Choreograph and Assist to the creation of the hit Spanish Musical ‘Hoy no me puedo levantar”, this kept him in his original country for a while as a Resident director, leading him to create more productions in Spain, like ‘Quisiera ser”, ‘Mayo 1808’, ‘Chueka’ ,’Don Juan, A sangre y fuego’ at the Grand via de Madrid (theatre district) 

It is the same thought process which lead him to the creations in other productions like, ‘Hoy no me puedo levantar’ Mexico version,’West Side story” Germany, Artistic Contemporary Works like; ‘Sacati’, Resat (Spain) ‘Creaseless’, Lyceum (London) ‘Jalika'(India) ‘Circadian’ (India), Himalayan knot (India).

Working as a Choreographer he started growing an interest in Performing Arts Education and pedagogic methods, leading him to accumulated experience as a Modern and Contemporary Dance teacher using Classical Ballet as a base but with strong Limón and Granham techniques, Stage Art Musical School, Hamburg, Contemporary Dance School, Hamburg, Amsterdam Dance Center, Musical Factory, Switzerland, Madrid Dance Center and others.

His background is firmly rooted in theatre, which has allowed him over the years to grow as a creator and visionary in numerous ways, providing him with the opportunities to pursue other passions. Theatre design, Visual art and Set design all of it expanding his creative process in unimaginable ways.

In 2012 after many years traveling through his work he decided to stay in India and create with his life partner Peeya Rai Choudhuri a new method of training mixing Western Techniques with Indian spiritual philosophies that will result in the creation of Omaggio Performing Company, a multidisciplinary Contemporary Dance and Circus Theatre Company. 

Omaggio has been his passion project for the last 11 years, allowing to grow in ways he never expected. Receiving the Wow Asia award for Best choreographer and Dance Company in 2018. 

His latest creation ” Circadian” with Omaggio Performing Company, India. Making its debut at NMACC Studio Theatre with standing ovation. Also more recently creation “Himalayan knot” Mukesh Mills, Mumbai a Royal Enfield project and ‘The loom’ at Sa-Ladhak Art festival. As well as numerous other projects over the last decade.

Tino will continue on his pursuit of excellence. Diving into the depths of the next project through innovative creative methods forming his one true motto Originality and Uniqueness!
