A Community project for the Arts, The Picnic Performance concept was created for the love of the Arts. This community project was develop as a platform for young emerging talent of the region. A concept where families could enjoy Performing Arts in an safe outdoor environment. This project was created after the brutal impact that Covid left in the theatre scene around the world.

Having its origins as a country house affair among the aristocracy, the picnic – at its core – should be a relaxed occasion. No agenda set, no lawn games to keep the hands idle. A tipped hat over one’s eyes and a lukewarm bottle of champagne to sip when parched are all that is needed. Planning is unnecessary; it is the company and the sunshine that matter.
