Her acting career started at 17 years of age, complimented with distance education, self learning was an integral part of her life. She soon developed a love for craft training in Theatre and Contemporary dance at NYFA( new york)  DADA (new delhi) , MDC( madrid) and Ailey School (new york). At the same time honing a God-given talent of presentation . She presented and hosted shows on TV during her early 20’s .And carried on working with the most prolific directors in theatre in India and playing characters in films in both India and Overseas. 

Her drive led her into all avenues of performance as a working actor. Theatre: Alyque Padamsee,Romeo and Juliet , Rajat Kapoors’s C for Clowns and more .Film: Gurinder Chaddha’s Bride and Prejudice,Ram Gopal Verma’s Vaastu Shaastra ,Darna mana hai and more .

Upon losing her parents in her late twenties, the world opened up in ways unimaginable. She was going to be soon on route to find her tribe, an Artistic Community that would help fulfil her true purpose.

Omaggio Performing Company was founded in 2013 with Peeya and her partner Tino Sanchez. The project was born from a deep mission to empower young potential youth with training and development to find fruition as International level performers. In the last decade, she has completely dedicated herself towards the growth of these young Indian artists. Working tirelessly along with this collective to share and raise the level of performing arts in India , specifically in Goa where they have been based since the beginning.

Her desires go beyond creating and presenting shows and performances for audiences . Her true calling is to work diligently to raise awareness amidst the viewers who watch their productions , via a message or truth that would have stirred a transformative feeling . Gradually shifting perception for the collective future . 

She worked with her team to build Maya Amphitheatre,Goa(in memory of her mother ) a beautiful platform staging shows and live performances .Programming sold out acts from Vir Das (See you Outside tour )to Luminario Ballet (USA) to Contemporary speaker NY based Alok Vaid Menon .As well as releasing EP’s of various music artists .An outdoor venue running successfully over 3 years .

Now as Omaggio is well on its journey and has been creating soul stirring and highly skilled productions, she is now closer to her second mission of moving their unique language of performance art into the hearts of audiences from all across the globe. Making the nation proud and bridging cultural gaps through Art  ,Music and above all Love !
