Quisiera Ser is a Spanish musical inspired by the songs of the legendary Dúo Dinámico. Set aboard a train travelling from Madrid to Barcelona, the story follows three women whose different lives remain connected by a shared past.

As the journey unfolds, memories, desires and unfinished relationships emerge through music that defined a generation. Rather than simply looking back with nostalgia, the production explores friendship, identity and the distance between who we are and who we once dreamed of becoming.

Choreographed by Tino Sánchez, the production transforms the familiar energy of Dúo Dinámico’s repertoire into a theatrical language of character, rhythm and ensemble movement. Quisiera Ser premiered at Madrid’s Teatro Nuevo Apolo in 2007.
